Refractory material is the basic material of iron and steel, nonferrous metal, petrochemical, building materials, electric power and other high-temperature industries, and is an important support material for high-temperature industrial thermal equipment. The four major downstream application areas are: steel industry, cement industry, non-ferrous metal refining process and flat glass industry.
Field 1: 70% of the downstream demand for refractory materials in the steel industry is the steel industry, which is used in the steel production process such as blast furnace, converter, electric furnace, ladle furnace, LF furnace, RH furnace and continuous casting system. Iron ore is smelted into pig iron in the blast furnace, hot iron is injected into the converter or electric furnace to smelt steel, and then the molten steel is cast into continuous casting failure or ingot. The steel is processed into various uses by rolling and other plastic deformation methods. Due to the different working environment and use requirements of various furnaces in steel production, there are also different requirements for refractories.
Field 2: Cement industry
Refractory brick is widely used in various industrial sectors and high temperature technology fields, and is an indispensable production material in the clinker burning process of cement enterprises. Alkali series and silica-aluminum series refractory bricks are widely used in cement enterprises. Previously, magnesia chrome brick was the most used in the rotary kiln firing belt, but the potential pollution of water-soluble hexavalent chromium in magnesia chrome brick has become an important issue that needs to be solved in the application process of fire brick. With the improvement of environmental awareness, some industrialized countries (such as Germany, the United States, etc.) have passed legislation to restrict the use of magnesia-chromium bricks. Our country also has corresponding regulations. At present, the refractory material chromium-free has been fully implemented in the cement industry, and the magnesia iron and magnesia calcium bricks used in the firing belt can replace the original magnesia chrome brick cement enterprises in different parts of the clinker burning and cooling system, the performance requirements of refractory bricks are different, and the types of refractory bricks used are also different. Cement enterprises commonly used refractory bricks are: high aluminum brick, Baiyun mountain brick, magnesia chrome brick, spinel brick, anti-spalling brick, silica brick and so on.
Field 3: non-ferrous metal refining industry
The main equipment of non-ferrous metal refining is the furnace of non-ferrous metal refining. The demand and selection of the quality and quality of refractory materials is an important factor to improve the life and output of non-ferrous metal smelting furnace. The structure of the smelting furnace depends on the different fire smelting techniques, the root of different smelting processes, and the selection of different forms of starting seeds
Field 4: Glass industry
Kiln as the core equipment of glass production, the technical progress of the kiln requires a variety of high-quality refractory materials as a guarantee condition, requiring refractories to withstand higher temperatures, more drastic temperature changes, more intense chemical erosion, more severe stress damage, only supporting the application of a variety of high-quality refractory materials, The advantages of new kiln technology such as high efficiency, energy saving and low pollution can be realized.
