High aluminum brick is a kind of stereotyped refractory material in refractory brick products. It is made of fireclay or other refractory raw materials. It belongs to silica-aluminum series products. As a kind of product widely used in refractory bricks, high aluminum bricks are usually divided into three grades according to the Al2O3 content in high aluminum bricks: Ⅰ and so on -- Al2O3 content >75%; ⅱ-al2o3 content is 60 ~ 75%; Ⅲ -- Al2O3 content is 48 ~ 60%.
High aluminum brick is a kind of refractory material, and the main component of this refractory brick is AL2O3. The refractoriness of high alumina brick is higher than that of clay brick and semi-silicon brick. It belongs to refractory material. There are more Al2O3 in high aluminum bricks, close to neutral refractory materials, which can resist the erosion of acidic slag and alkaline slag, because it contains SiO2, so the ability of anti-alkaline slag is weaker than the ability of anti-acid slag.
According to the amount of AL2O3 content is divided into 55,65,75,80 and other grades.
High aluminum bricks are divided into the following types from aluminum oxide (Al2O3) content:
Corundum brick: aluminum content is not less than 90%;
Super high aluminum brick: aluminum content is not less than 85%;
Grade 1 high aluminum brick: aluminum content is not less than 75%;
Secondary high aluminum brick: aluminum content is not less than 65%;
Three high aluminum brick: aluminum content is not less than 55%.
High aluminum brick: aluminum oxide (Al2O3) content is higher than 48% of aluminum silicate refractory products.
If the Al2O3 content is higher than 90%, it is called corundum brick. Due to different resources, national standards are not entirely consistent.
For example, European countries stipulate that the lower limit of Al2O3 content for high aluminum refractories is 42%.
In China, according to the Al2O3 content in high aluminum bricks is usually divided into three grades :Ⅰ - Al2O3 content > 75%; Al2O3 content is 60 ~ 75%; Ⅲ, Al2O3 content is 48 ~ 60%.
