Refractory castable plays a very important role in the construction process, related to the length of the service life of castable, the strength of the level, only the correct construction method can achieve good results.

1. The castable is 25 kg per bag, and the bag is composed of a small bag of binder and a bag of aggregate. The aggregate and binder in the bag are poured into a forced mixer in turn, and the raw materials are dry mixed first, the mixing time is 1 minute, and all the raw materials are stirred evenly (e.g. : The material is 200kg, and the proportion of water is 8%, that is to say, 200kg of material needs to pour 16kg of water,) during the construction process of castable, the proportion of water is a very important link, which will directly affect the strength and refractoriness of the castable in the later stage, as well as whether the problem of cracking, so in the process of adding water, we must control the proportion of water. After dry mixing, slowly pour the good water into the mixer, while pouring water, while observing, the stirring time after adding water to the castable is generally 5 minutes. First, in order to make the materials in the mixer fully stirred evenly, the second is that the internal part of the material has a part of the chemical composition, so that its binder and chemical materials can fully react, so the general mixing time is about 5 minutes. After mixing well, grab a handful of material into the hand, slight vibration, the surface of the floating slurry can be. Indicates that the castable has been fully stirred evenly, stirred in place, at this time we can carry out the discharge construction. When the castable is poured out, the castable will not go down the face, but will become a cone, not spread into a piece, this state is the best state. Second, the castable poured into the mold frame should be immediately shaken with a vibrator layer, in the construction process, we need to shake while pouring material, discharge the internal air, improve the overall density, so that the product to achieve a best state. The height of each layer should not be greater than 900mm, the vibration spacing should be about 250mm, and the anchorage should be avoided as far as possible during vibration, the insulation layer should not be damaged, and the vibration and revitalization should not be prolonged in the same position. Until the surface of the castable is flooded, the vibrator should be slowly extracted to avoid segregation and voids in the castable layer. The stirred castable is generally used within 30 minutes. This time should be appropriately shortened in a high temperature and dry working environment. Castable that has been initially coagulated or even caked shall not be poured into the mold frame, nor shall water be added to stir and then used. After pouring, the castable body shall not be subjected to shock under pressure before solidification. When pouring a large area, the construction should be divided into blocks, and the area of each pouring area is about 1.5m². The expansion joint should be left according to the design and should not be omitted. The expansion joint should be located in the middle of the anchor space.

Third, the curing temperature of the cast body is between 15-35℃, beyond this temperature range, corresponding heating or cooling measures should be taken, otherwise it will cause the performance of the product to decline. After the surface of the castable is dry, the part exposed to the air should be covered tightly with polyethylene plastic plastic film or straw bag to prevent water evaporation and promote cement activation. After the initial setting arrives, it is necessary to regularly spray water for maintenance, keep its surface moist, and the maintenance time is at least two days, and the water should be frequently sprinkled within the first day. After hardening, it is forbidden to knock and shake within a day, according to the hardening situation, the mold can be removed after 24-30 hours of hardening. After the mold is removed, continue to cover the polyethylene plastic film or straw bag during maintenance. After 3 days of oxidation, remove the polyethylene plastic film or straw bag. Let the cast body in the air natural drying for 1 day, you can bake.

Fourth, baking is the last key link in the use of castable, because the castable is relatively dense, so it is absolutely prohibited to heat up too fast when baking. Otherwise, it will cause cracks in the castable, or cause cracking accidents, affecting the use effect of castable. Please strictly follow the oven scheme for drying.
