Knowledge Of Resistant Materials - High Alumina Aggregates Play An Integral Role

High aluminum aggregate commonly known as bauxite clinker, refractory aggregate, is made of raw bauxite after high temperature calcination, by the process of impurity, iron and other broken into different sizes of particles, it is the production of high aluminum bricks, refractory castable indispensable refractory raw materials. The size of high aluminum aggregate is divided into coarse particles, medium particles, fine particles and powder. In the production of refractory product ingredients, a certain proportion of mixing is used to fill the medium particles into the coarse particle gap, the fine particles fill the medium particle gap, and the powder fills the fine particle gap to form dense accumulation. Our company can produce different size particles according to user needs, such as: 0-1mm,1-3mm,3-5mm,5-8mm,8-15mm, less than 0.074mm. The price of high aluminum refractory aggregate increases with the increase of aluminum oxide content, the higher the content, the higher the fire temperature, the lower the impurity, iron content and water absorption, the better the refractory products produced.

High alumina aggregate is the raw material of many heavy industries. Mainly used in the following industries:

1. Aluminum smelting industry. Used in national defense, aviation, automobiles, electrical appliances, chemicals, daily necessities and so on.

2, precision casting. Bauxite clinker is processed into fine powder and cast into mold after precision casting. Used in military, aerospace, communications, instrumentation, machinery and medical equipment departments.

3, for refractory products. High bauxite clinker refractoriness up to 1780℃, strong chemical stability, good physical properties.

4, can be mixed with high-aluminum cement, high-aluminum fine powder, water in proportion to produce a very high strength refractory castable

5, aluminum silicate refractory fiber. It has the advantages of light weight, high temperature resistance, good thermal stability, low thermal conductivity, small heat capacity and mechanical shock resistance. Used in steel, nonferrous metallurgy, electronics, petroleum, chemical industry, aerospace, atomic energy, national defense and other industries.

High aluminum aggregate size greater than 5mm is called coarse aggregate, 5mm below for fine aggregate. Generally, when making high aluminum refractory bricks, the aggregate will not be greater than 5mm, and when making high aluminum series castable, the aggregate will be between 0-12mm. If it is a filler, the large particles will not exceed 8mm, and 6-8mm will be used normally. Under normal circumstances, it is the principle of using ingredients with two large middle particles.

This reduces the porosity and increases the wear resistance.

In the high-aluminum series castable, the particle classification of high-aluminum aggregate will be more, because the high-aluminum castable needs to add powder, bonding agent, etc. The particles of high aluminum aggregate are also used in the ratio method of fewer intermediate particles and more particles at both ends, but the particles of high aluminum castable are larger than the particles of high aluminum bricks. The high aluminum brick particle is 0-4mm, and the high aluminum castable particle is 0-12mm.
