High alumina brick belongs to neutral refractory material
1, high fire resistance. The refractoriness of high aluminum bricks is higher than that of clay bricks and semi-silicon bricks, up to 1750-1790 degrees, which is a high-grade refractory material.
2, load softening temperature. Because high aluminum products Al2O3 is high, less impurity, the formation of fusible glass body is less, so the load softening temperature is higher than clay bricks, the load softening temperature of high aluminum products is generally more than 1420-1550 degrees. However, because the mullite crystals did not form a network structure, the load softening temperature is still not as high as the silicon brick.
3, slag resistance. High aluminum brick Al2O3 more, close to the neutral refractory, can resist the erosion of acidic slag and alkaline slag, because it contains silicon oxide, so the ability of alkali slag is weaker than the ability of acid slag.
4, chemical erosion resistance. High aluminum refractory products resist acid or alkaline slag, metal erosion and oxidation, reduction reaction are very good, and with the increase of Al2O3 content, the reduction of harmful impurities content and enhance.
Clay bricks are mainly weak acid refractory materials
The refractoriness is 1690℃, which is enhanced with the increase of SiO2 content, so it is mostly used as the lining material of acid kiln. According to the bulk density, it can be divided into ordinary clay bricks, low porosity clay bricks, low creep clay bricks.
